Last Thursday was a busy day for us. In the morning we met with city planners to listen to comments on our concept for the new building. Various city departments (Planning Services, Building Inspection, Fire Authority, Engineering, Traffic Operations, Water/Wastewater Engineering, Stormwater Engineering, Electric Engineering and Forestry) were represented.

When the original space team was looking at options for finding us enough space, they heard that our carbon footprint – sustainability and efficiency – was extremely important to our congregation.
The Space Team has become the Building Expansion Team. The Space Committee was formed to determine what to do about obtaining more space. Now that decision has been made, Building Expansion more accurately describes our function.
