This Sunday at 1 PM, we’ll gather for our Congregational Meeting to approve the rest of the 2025 budget. Attached is the information packet that lays out our budget plan as well as provides updated information on how we closed 2024.
This 2025 Budget reflects our financial plans for year two of a five year plan, adopted for 2024. In 2020, we made a faithful decision to invest in our future by building an expansion. In 2021, we reaffirmed that commitment, even in the midst of the uncertainty of the pandemic. In 2023, after seeing the real impact of our new space, we chose to stay the course despite economic impacts we had not foreseen. We understood that it would take time to fully grow into this next chapter of our congregation’s life. That decision has proven sound—Foothills is full and thriving, with an average of 560 attendees so far this year, surpassing our expectations.
We do not take this path lightly. But we take it together, knowing that in times of upheaval, it is our calling to be bold, not cautious. Our Board of Trustees and Executive Staff stand behind this budget because it is a faithful response to the realities of our time. Now, more than ever, we must commit ourselves fully to unleashing courageous love.
