Are past experiences with religion weighing on you?

Do certain church words make your skin crawl?

Is it sometimes hard to see yourself as a churchgoer – let alone tell others that you attend?

At Foothills, we’re all on a journey to find more connection, meaning, and joy, and we all bring with us past experiences in matters of faith and belonging. Sometimes, though, past experiences become barriers to fully engaging in spiritual community.

Join us for a four-session small group to do some unpacking. Through storytelling, ritual, and embodied practices, we will seek to lighten the load of painful religious experiences and make room for new stories to unfold.
