This Year's Special Appeal: ISAAC
Mr. Rogers built an entire neighborhood out of one question: Won’t You Be My Neighbor? This year, our Live Auction night asks it again — on behalf of neighbors many of us will never meet by name, but whose thriving is bound up with ours all the same.
Alongside the paddle raise on October 3rd, we’re inviting the whole community into a Special Appeal for ISAAC, our auction partner working for immigrant and refugee dignity across Northern Colorado. It’s simple: every dollar given splits evenly, half to Foothills’ operating expenses and half straight to ISAAC’s work in the community.
Who ISAAC Is In Their Own Words
“All the work we do in ISAAC is carried out FOR the community, BY the community, with the LOVE that transforms community.”
ISAAC is a coalition of dozens of frontline community partners, fifteen member faith communities, and hundreds of individuals, working through education, leadership development, direct accompaniment, and community-led advocacy so that immigrants, asylum seekers, refugees, and religious minorities in Northern Colorado are recognized for what they already contribute, and free to thrive to their full potential. Their own words for the posture behind it: “Alone we know a little, together we know a lot.”
