Practice Hospitality –

Our partnership in furthering the reach of love begins with a practice of hospitality on Sunday mornings. Whether you have been coming a few weeks, or a few decades, we invite you to regularly participate in greeting, ushering and welcoming our guests on Sunday morning.  We encourage you to sign up with a friend or your small group – by working together we strengthen our relationships and pass along the blessing to a greater circle who come seeking our good news that all are worthy of love and belonging, and life is connected.  Sign up for Sunday hospitality online or emailing the office at, by signing up on Sunday at the sign up table in the social hall, or by calling the office.  Thank you for your partnership in this important ministry.  (If you are new to Sunday morning jobs, don’t worry, we always have lots of support to help you get oriented.  Click here for Sunday volunteer job descriptions

Help Us Grow Our Welcome

Our Membership Team reaches out to those who are new, feel new, or are looking to re-new in their connections to Foothills, helping them to feel welcome, to find their way and to begin their path of gathering in worship, connecting in community, growing in spirit, serving in partnership and giving in gratitude. Are you someone who likes to help others feel welcome and find their place? Our membership team may be the place for you.

Reach Out to Those In Need

Are you a good listener? Do you have a compassionate heart? Our Caring Team supports the professional ministers in tending to pastoral needs in the congregation, whether through the delivery of meals during a time of need, or through caring cards, or through our Parish Visitors program, where trained and supported members of our congregation visit church members unable to attend services either permanently or temporarily, or who simply need a more regular listening ear.

To apply to be a part of our Parish Visitors program, please complete this Application and submit it to Rev. Sean Neil-Barron, at or by bringing it by the church office.   Once you have been initially approved, we will ask that you also complete this document which releases us to perform a background check.  Please review this document  for more details about the parish visitors program.

If you would like to learn more about joining our Caring Team, contact Rev. Sean Neil-Barron for more information.

Foster Healthy Relationship with Money & Stewardship of Our Congregation’s Resources

Our Stewardship Team promotes a culture of giving & generosity in our congregation, ensuring that our practices align with our stated values.  They lead the annual pledge drive, ensuring that we are all inspired to give as generously as possible so that we are able to fulfill the big dreams and important commitments of our faith.  Do you have a passion for our mission? Do you care deeply about this congregation? You need not have particular expertise in finances – rather this team is best made up of people who care deeply about our congregation and have a strong passion for all we can be when we all show up with our full resources to further the reach of love in the world.  If this is you, contact Kay Williams, Stewardship Chair, at

Share Your Sound, Lighting & Technical Gifts
