Share Your Failure Story

A space to tell the truth about a time you failed — and what it taught you.

Write and share your Failure Story.

Tell us about a time you failed. Not a time things didn't work out — a real failure, the kind where you let someone down, or let yourself down, or the plan collapsed and it was your hand on it when it did.

What happened. Say it plain.

What did it grow in you that success never could have?

What did it teach you about being human — about the difference between the story we tell about ourselves and the story that's actually true?

What did it teach you about who we are meant to be for each other — the ones who fail, and the ones who watch us do it?

You don't need a redemptive ending. If it's still unresolved, say so.

We ask for your name and email below only because we sometimes need to follow up with you directly — we will not publish or share your name without your permission. If you'd rather we not follow up at all, check the box further down saying you want to remain totally anonymous.

Some of these stories will be excerpted and shared (anonymously, unless you tell us otherwise) in worship on Sunday, September 27 at 11am.
