As a part of our November Series, we invite our community into a daily practice of delight for the whole month. This practice is inspired by writer Ross Gay and his book, The Book of Delights, where he took up a daily practice of finding something delightful and writing a short essay about it.
For our practice we invite everyone everyday to:
1. Notice something delightful.
2. Be present with it. Take a photo of it, write a haiku about it, make a video about it, OR write a short (400 words or less) essay about it). You can choose to do something different every day, or do the same practice the whole series.
3. Share your delights (as you’d like) on social media with #everydaydelight and tag Foothills Unitarian (@foothillsuu on instagram and @FoothillsUnitarianChurch on Facebook).
We can’t wait to share in delight across our whole community!
Come and experience Taize Worship, a unique and beautiful style of worship that invites us to rest in the embrace of repetitive songs/chants and silence.
This half-hour long service features beautiful singing and acoustic instruments and is a great way to reset, recharge, and connect with your spirituality. If you’re looking for a worship service that is different from the traditional, come and try Taize Worship!
