Making Something Happen at Foothills!
Have an idea for an event, program, fundraiser, or something else? Wonderful! This page will walk you through the step-by-step process of making your idea a reality!
First, if you are part of an existing group at Foothills, you only need to use this process if (a) you intend to invite the broader congregation to participate in your event/program, or (b) you need additional church resources (i.e. staff time, funds, etc.).
If your event has already been discussed with a minister or staff member, please fill out this form. If not, proceed to Step One below.
If you need to make a change to an ongoing event or an event for which you’ve already submitted a form, please let us know here.

Step One: Assess the Sweet Spot
Use the sweet spot worksheet (linked below) with at least one other person to carefully consider whether your idea or initiative fits in the “sweet spot” of our mission, ministry, and community life.
Step Two: Fill Out the "Making Something Happen" Form
Once you have discerned your idea meets the sweet spot, complete and submit the online form, “Finding The Sweet Spot” (linked below). Once you submit the form, the assigned staff member will contact you within 12 days to discern next steps.
