Join us for a morning of outside spiritual practice. This time will be focused on engaging our senses, connecting with nature and discovering creativity in the natural world with Cheryl Hazlitt will be leading us in activities. Plan to walk about 2 1/2 miles interspersed with sitting, on level graveled trails and concrete bench seating. We will be moving slowly, in a peaceful manner, so this will not be “exercise”.
The natural area is known for its birding and waterfowl, and is a generally “quiet” atmosphere. Participants will be asked to maintain this spirit of calm. We ask that you bring a breakfast brunch item to share and we will close with a communal brunch onsite. Wear comfortable walking clothes, closed toe walking shoes, Bring a jacket & sunhat, binoculars; a pad to sit on if its wet or cold, and a small breakfast brunch item to share afterwards. bring a few dollars to put in the donations box.
If the weather is iffy, but the temp prediction is to be above 50 degrees, we will meet. In case of snow, or pouring rain, the activity will be cancelled, to be rescheduled at a later date.
