Meditation & Mindfulness for Stres Reduction

An event every week that begins at 5:30 pm on Monday, repeating until December 14, 2021

The holiday season often brings unwelcome guests — stress, depression, and loneliness.  This year we have extra challenges from the pandemic – creating more uncertainty and worry. This six-week program will teach us mindfulness techniques to stay calmer, healthier, and more present as we negotiate this busy time of year.

Each session will include guided meditations, breathing techniques for stress reduction, and learning everyday mindfulness tips. Meditating in a small group can be very renewing for the body, mind, and spirit.

Please join meditation leader Jay Ham from 5:30-6:30 on Mondays in the RE building starting November 8th. Each Monday session will follow the same basic format, so don’t worry if you can’t attend all six meetings. However, because space is limited, we hope you can commit to attending at least half of the six sessions when you sign up.
