Holiday Healing – A contemplative service
December 13 @ 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm
Knowing that this time of year can be particularly difficult for many of us, we’ll gather in the warmth of community and in the soft glow of candlelight to find stillness and maybe even sanctuary. Whether it is the loss of a loved one recently or in a time long past, whether it is the loss of a job, a home, a relationship or something much harder to name – you are welcome here – in the fullness of your experience.
We gather to remember that our grief is sacred, that it has a place in our journeys toward healing.
We gather by the fire of our chalice on a long winter night to sing and be sung to, to light candles, to mourn and to honor what we have lost – or are losing – and to be changed by our time together. Coffee and cookies to follow, provided by the Caring Team.
