Tuesday, May 17, was momentous for our community! We officially broke ground on our new 400-seat sanctuary! Thank you to the over 140 congregants and community members that helped us mark this historic day.

And thank you to all who made this moment possible: The Building Expansion Team (Chris Bettlach, Jerry Hanley, Peg MacMorris, and Margaret Cottam), all who participated in listening and visioning sessions, and all who gave generously and continue to give to the Capital Campaign.

In the fall and winter of 2019-2020, our congregation held a hugely successful Capital Campaign, raising $6 million to fund the much needed expansion of our physical campus. Two weeks after we voted to proceed with the final design on March 1, 2020, we went into pandemic lockdown.

Over the last 11 months, we have been tracking the pandemic and all it brought with it. We have revisioned our building expansion project for a post-pandemic world. On Sunday, Feb. 21st, the congregation met online and voted overwhelmingly (144-4) to proceed with a revised Phase 1 of our Building Expansion Project, a master plan for an eventual doubling of our campus.

On Sunday, April 26th, Rev. Gretchen announced a revised sanctuary design based on feedback from you, our beloved congregants!  Check out the sanctuary redesign announcement video ⬇️ and view the plans here.
