High School Youth Program: YRUU

 Welcome to our High School Youth Ministry Program for 9th – 12th graders  at Foothills Unitarian Church

As Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU), we strive to recognize the divine in all beings, including ourselves. We explore how to live our values in the world through worship, intentional community, leadership development, spiritual exploration, service, and FUN!

YRUU meetings from 10:30am – Noon every Sunday morning and various fun events on weeknights throughout the month. See the monthly calendar below for details, links to sign up, etc.

Join us for “Jump into YRUU” Orientation – Sunday, September 18th 1:00 – 3:30 pm  

High School Youth & a Parent are invited to join us for this orientation to our YRUU high school youth group for the 2016/2017 year
We will meet at the church from 1:00 – 2:00 for Orientation – find out everything about our high school youth Group, register and fill out required paperwork. After the orientation we will head to Mile High Trampoline Park for fun and games!

 The YRUU program emphasizes youth leadership, spiritual development, and creating a caring and affirming community for our youth. In addition to a wide spectrum of events at our home church, members of the group have opportunities to participate in interfaith projects in Fort Collins and in Mountain Desert District UU events including Youth Conferences (CONS) and QUUEST summer camp.

The group is led by Kristina Ruff, our High School Youth Coordinator. She works in close partnership with a vibrant group of youth advisors and youth leaders.
