Our Whole Lives is a series of sexuality education curricula jointly developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association and The United Church of Christ. The curricula are based on the Guidelines for Comprehensive Sexuality Education (pdf) produced by the National Guidelines Task Force, a group of leading health, education, and sexuality professionals assembled by the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS). Our Whole Lives covers topics and skills that both parents and students want to have available but schools are less likely to cover. Classes are taught by carefully selected leaders, trained and approved by the national OWL training program.

The 8th Grade OWL Program
This abstinence-based, comprehensive sexuality education program is a unique opportunity for our eighth graders to learn about all aspects of their sexuality: spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional. The program offers opportunities for youth to clarify their values and information to keep themselves emotionally and physically safe when making decisions about sexual activity. The class meets on Wednesday evenings Oct – February.
